- According to the 2010 Census, Kane County's population totaled 7,125 individuals making it the seventh least populous county in Utah.
- Between 2000 and 2010, Kane County's population grew by 18 percent--noticeably slower than the statewide average of 24 percent. However, that growth rate planted it near the center of a ranking of all Utah counties.
- The county's most rapid growth (29 percent) occurred outside the largest townships.
- Kanab experienced the most rapid growth of incorporated towns--21 percent. Both Alton and Orderville showed slight population declines between 2000 and 2010.
- Less than 7 percent of Kane County's population belongs to a racial or ethnic minority making it the sixth least racially/ethnically diverse county in Utah. Statewide, racial and ethnic minorities account for almost 20 percent of total population.
- Slightly more than 4 percent of Kane County's population belongs to the Hispanic/Latino ethnic group making it Kane County's largest minority group. Nevertheless, Kane County maintains the third smallest Latino community when compared to all Utah counties.
- Kane County's Hispanic minority is the only racial/ethnic group to significantly increase its share of the population during the last decade.
