The 2013 World Horseshoe Tournament is coming to St. George. Up to 1,500 of the best pitchers in the world are expected to compete in the July 22 to Aug. 3 event at the Dixie Convention Center. St. George defeated York, Pa., for the right to stage the tournament, which is expected to generate about $4 million for southwestern Utah’s economy. Salt Lake Tribune
