Brian Head Ski Resort is filling positions for its upcoming ski season, which is expected to open Nov. 19. During peak season 350 employees fill the $2 million payroll. The resort anticipates being open until April 9.
To keep up with consumer demand, workers will be solicited Thursday at a job fair on the Southern Utah University campus. The goal is to hire approximately 80 ski and snowboard instructors and other positions. Two more job fairs are scheduled Oct. 26 and 27, also at SUU, for a minimum of 200 new hires for lift operators, ticket sales, retail, rentals, reservations, child care providers and food and beverage servers.
