Proposed gypsum mine in Washington County

SunRiver residents are carefully eyeing a proposed gypsum mining operation about five miles west of their housing development. Concerned the mining and material transportation may kick up dust that could affect SunRiver's air quality, the residents have banded together to question the Bureau of Land Management and mining company, Good Earth Minerals, about the project.
