Washington County Foreclosures Down

Foreclosure activity in Washington County has decreased according to recent numbers released by Southern Utah Title Company. The most recent numbers from September 2011 showed that 49.5 percent of the homes available for sale on the market were foreclosures or other distressed properties. Those numbers are down from 60 percent in April 2011. While there are fewer short sales and foreclosures on the market, the foreclosed properties that are up for auction are among some of the most sought-after properties in Washington County.
