Energizing the future

The Southwest Utah Renewable Energy Center hosted the fourth annual Milford Renewable Energy Fair on Thursday at Milford High School.

The fair featured approximately 35 booths and displays where businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies provided visitors with a diverse array of information about renewable energy and other environmental topics.

SUTREC Coordinator Jake Hartman said his organization chose Milford as the site for the annual fair because the city is considered to be a central location for renewable energy as a result of its close proximity to a wind farm and two geothermal plants. The Spectrum
