Brian Head Resort to host job fair for seasonal spots

Workers at Brian Head Resort fired up their snowmaking machines Thursday in anticipation for the ski season, set to begin Nov. 6. Though the question of ownership of the resort is still up in the air, skiers and snowboarders should expect business as usual, according to resort officials.

Brian Head resort employs about 350 people during peak season. Of that, around 250 jobs are local seasonal jobs. Brian Head Resort will hold a job fair Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southern Utah University’s Sharwan Smith Center to find seasonal employees. The Spectrum
