Work begins on Old Highway 91 repairs
Work has begun on protective landscaping that will prevent Old Highway 91 from washing out if the county experiences severe flooding similar to incidents that have occurred during the past decade. The Washington County Commission awarded a contract to provide erosion protections along the highway about six to seven miles north of the Arizona state line to Progressive Contracting, Inc., during its Tuesday meeting.
