Biodiesel company opens in Washington City

Working with local trucking companies to spread awareness about green energy and clean fuels, Pleasant Valley Biofuels is getting its footing at its biodiesel plant in Washington City. Co-owner Brandon Thurman worked to move the plant to Washington City in April.

The plant, which is now open at 262 W. Industrial Drive, sells clean biofuels to Andrus Transportation, Cox Trucking and other trucking companies that drive throughout the West. Pleasant Valley Biofuels does much of its business locally, getting the oil that is converted into biodiesel from the area as well as selling the finished product and byproduct glycerin in Utah.
