Construction for the new Family Healthcare Clinic in Hurricane is under way with an expected completion date scheduled for March. Services may be available at the facility by July 1. The 3,300-square foot facility was initially scheduled to open earlier in the year, but the clinic first must hire the staff necessary to work at the facility.
This is the fourth facility operated under Family Healthcare and is being constructed next to Hurricane Middle School, built in cooperation with Intermountain Health Care and the Washington County School District. The non-profit organization is able to open these health care facilities with partnerships through the Intermountain Health Care Foundation to help supply funding for personnel and the supplies needed to operate the facility.
