MSC Aerospace breaks ground in Iron County

MSC Aerospace has broken ground on its completion and delivery center in Iron County. The center, slated to be finished by December, is where the aeronautics of the SyberJets will be completed — the facility also will serve as a delivery hub.

Metalcraft Technologies, one of three subsidiaries of MSC Aerospace, currently operates in Iron County. Metalcraft is responsible for building parts for the SyberJets and for different airframes, including all Boeing commercial aircraft. The company plans to hire 1,200 employees for the center in the next 10 to 12 years. The Spectrum
