$2.5 million approved to fund new Parowan City Hall

Parowan Mayor Don Landes presented a request for $2.5 million in funding to the Permanent Community Impact Board for a new City Hall. The current City Hall building is 90 years old and is in much need of repairs that would cost as much as $2.1 million to fix. The money requested for the new building is 60 percent grant and 40 percent low-interest loan that would stretch to 30 years.
