Veterans home opens dedicated community for rehab care

The Southern Utah Veterans Home began receiving patients at one of its “communities” that will now be dedicated to rehabilitation and recovery services, including veterans who are not living at the veterans home. The rehabilitation service has already been available at the facility, but the recent admission marks the opening of a community wing dedicated to short-term residents who, before, were intermingled with long-term residents throughout the home.
