The St. George City Council gave approval to a proposed 93-acre expansion of the park to make room for a “Business Park” area that could accommodate light industrial and office spaces. The extension runs along the west side of River Road, south of Enterprise Road.
The new “business park” space would allow for continued business growth in the industrial park, but the uses would be more compatible with nearby residential development than the typical manufacturing uses seen throughout most of the Fort Pierce area.
