Hildale property set for new library
A new public library should be opening soon in Hildale, Utah. The Washington County Commission approved $230,000 Tuesday to buy a former school building there, moving forward with plans to turn it into the newest branch of the countywide library system. The idea is to open the facility before summer, likely with only a part-time director and limited hours. About $60,000 in federal grants will help stock books, computers and other equipment, he said.
