Demolition begins for future Kanab Center

Demolition for the future Kanab Center has begun. The old skate park was the first to go. Demolition is expected to take a couple weeks. The portion of the building that lines up with Center Street will be removed to the foundation, but the foundation will be preserved to be reused for approximately 4000 sq. ft. of the new conference/convention building. Barco Excavation is doing the demolition under Steed Construction, who is the general contractor for the project. Southern Utah News
