Washington County Home Permitting slowly improves

Washington County's decimated home-building industry is slowly clawing its way out of the recessionary depths. Recently released preliminary home-permitting data for January 2010 (from the Utah Bureau of Economic and Business Research) show the number of permits issued for new dwelling units is up 5 percent from the same month a year ago. That's the sixth straight month of year-over improvement.
