Rebuilding of St. George McDonald's begins

A crew began demolishing the St. George Boulevard McDonald's on Tuesday as part of a $1.8 million project to rebuild the 36-year-old restaurant. The restaurant was initially built in 1974, and after decades of use and numerous additions, the local franchise owners said they chose to destroy the building in an effort to provide St. George residents with a modern facility.
