St. George Interchange to get a facelift

Southern Utah drivers growing frustrated with the rush-hour traffic at the interchange between Interstate 15 and St. George Boulevard could see some relief before the end of 2013, as the Utah Department of Transportation announced plans to revamp the interchange. The busiest stretch of road in St. George — the length of St. George Boulevard between 1000 East and River Road — has been ruled a big enough priority to qualify for an estimated $16 million from the state.
