Old courthouse to be remodeled, used as St. George City office spaces

After more than three years sitting vacant, the building previously used as Utah’s 5th District Courthouse could reopen later this year in its new role as office space for the City of St. George. The city council approved the expenditure of more than $750,000 to remodel part of the building and set it up to house office and storage space for a variety of departments, including office space for the Technology Services Department, the police department’s drug gang task force and some leasing space for local operatives with the Drug Enforcement Agency.
