Enoch gets $1 million for drainage project

The city of Enoch is receiving a $1 million grant from the federal Natural Resource Conservation Service to be used to mitigate drainage problems that contributed to the Aug. 17, 2012, flood that affected approximately 100 homes. The Spectrum

 Note: Between March 2012 and March 2013, Iron County’s construction employment increased by almost 11 percent. In addition, for the first four months of 2013, the value of permitted construction skyrocketed more than 400 percent compared to the same four months in 2012. This drainage project should help keep the county’s construction industry on a healthy track.
