Area officials gathered to welcome kitchen machine distributor L’Chef to St. George on Monday, a move that managers say could eventually pump millions of dollars into the local economy and add to a recent string of positive job announcements.
The company, the exclusive distributor of popular Bosch kitchen machines, will start small this week, bringing in about 20 people from outside the area and hiring another half-dozen to help assemble a single NutriMill Grain Mills product, but there are plans to eventually manufacture a number of products in Southern Utah and continue to make new hires as the company grows.
