$2.3 million expansion underway at Quail Creek

Crews continued are working to install $2.3 million worth of upgrades at the Quail Creek Water Treatment Plant, where a majority of the culinary water used by Washington County residents is cleaned and treated. When they’re finished, the facility will be able to handle up to 60 million gallons of water per day, a 20-percent increase that managers say will go a long way toward meeting future demands.
