Washington County housing prices, sales expected to climb again in 2016
Median sale prices for single family homes jumped another 4.8 percent to $220,000 in Washington County last year, building on an upward trend that has seen steady growth coming out of the recession, according to figures presented by Vardell Curtis, chief executive officer of the Washington County Board of Realtors, during a presentation at the What’s Up Down South Economic Summit in St. George. And the expectation is that the coming year will continue along the same course — slow, steady, and without the raucous ups and downs that led up to it, Curtis said.
