A new travel center is planned where the SunRiver development hits Interstate 15 at the southern tip of St. George, bringing the area its first convenience store and signaling the latest in what planners expect to eventually lead to major new development at the city’s southernmost freeway intersection.
SunRiver St. George Development announced it had reached a deal with Terrible Herbst to build a Chevron gas station, convenience store and car wash at The Commons at SunRiver, a new commercial development next to the interchange.
