Housing industry slowly improving in Washington County

Following a lengthy period of volatility in Washington County's residential real estate sector, home sales are gaining steam this year, surpassing 2009 figures as a slow recovery process continues. Washington County recorded 361 residential property sales in May, representing a noticeable increase from the 310 sales logged during the same month last year, said Allen Carter, manager of developer services for Southern Utah Title Company.
