Alton Coal closer to mining in So. Utah

The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining decided to uphold Alton Coal Company's permit for the Coal Hollow Mine in Kane County. The company estimates when at full production, it could generate about 150 new jobs with trucking and mining operations and even more indirect jobs in Southern Utah. The Spectrum
