The final steps include checking for liens that may be on the future subdivision lots, and getting the city engineer's approval for the construction drawings.
Answering Mayor Don Landes on how long before construction begins, Oveson said underground improvements could begin as early as this fall and asphalt would be laid in the spring, weather permitting.
