Washington City Council prepares for Telegraph Street project

The Washington City Council offered an update to the Utah Department of Transportation's $13 million Telegraph Street project during a work meeting night. Clayton Wilson, project manager of Telegraph Street, made the presentation. He said they're putting costs to things and talking to business owners. Construction is slated to begin in January.

The two-lane road has become inadequate as Washington City has grown and more vehicles travel the road."It's the bottleneck," said Mike Shaw, public works director. Wilson said from Walmart, the road goes from five lanes, down to two lanes and back to five lanes.
